Hi Thanks for getting in touch and I’m pleased to share more info about The Academy. I’ve attached a PDF containing pricing and more info. The next intake will be May 2025. The Academy is a detailed programme designed to help you via a mostly 1-2-1 mentored approach. There are six two-day modules through the year where you come to the venues for teaching and shooting (usually venues in Buckinghamshire), with the others in the group, roughly spaced every other month. As well as the modules there are also continuous assignments which are undertaken in your own time, followed up by 1-to-1 Zoom calls to review your work together. These calls are typically every fortnight through the year, and can be arranged during 9-5 hours or in the evenings if you prefer. The on-the-job work of the course is of particular benefit too, where you would come to several real weddings with us that build confidence and help you finish the course with a really strong portfolio. The first half of the year is mostly focused on pure photographic skills, the second half of the year we are helping you create a brand & website, and furnish you with all the collateral you need such as contracts, suppliers, successful advertising methods etc. At the end of the year you should have a great business launched with strong skills and portfolio, ready to do really well.
