How To Book
Take a look around my website, browse a few real weddings, and if you think we’d be a good fit, get in touch by filling out my enquiry form with as much info as you know at this stage. We’ll have a relaxed chat where we can talk about your plans and I can answer any questions. If you decide you’d like me there on your wedding day, a signed contract and a 20% deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day. We can set up a payment plan to get things out the way earlier if you want to.
Once you’ve booked with me, you’ll get my wedding planning guide to help you plan your wedding day and you can get in touch at any time! If you’d like, we can also plan a pre-wedding shoot. It’s a lovely way to help you realise being photographed really isn’t as scary as you thought!
ON THE DAY
How I Work
For most of the day, you’ll barely notice I’m there! I’ll work closely behind the scenes with your other wedding suppliers to give you a seamless day, photographing everything whilst you spend time with the people you love doing all the things you’ve planned!
There are two places where you’ll see a bit more of me. I will step in and capture your group shots for you, but I make sure it’s fun for all and done quickly, so everyone can get back to celebrating.
And I know couple portraits are where some people feel nervous! BUT we only need 15 minutes to get photos you will love and I promise it’s nothing cheesy. Most couples say this ends up being one of their favourite parts of the day – it’s often the first chance they’ve had to pause and take it all in together.
AFTER ALL THE CELEBRATIONS
Gallery Delivery
The confetti has settled, your dress is at the dry cleaners, and you’re wondering how the day went by so quickly. That’s where the photographs come in! I get so excited about delivering these to you because I know how much they mean once it’s all over.
Because I know you’ll be desperate to relive it all, I’ll send you a lovely collection of highlights within a week. Your full gallery will be ready in 6–8 weeks, full of hundreds of moments to look back on for years to come.
SOMETHING TO HOLD
Wedding Albums
Your online gallery makes it easy to order prints, frames and wall art, so you can adorn your house and your loved ones with photos from your day.
And there’s something special about holding your wedding day in your hands. That’s why I offer beautifully designed wedding albums – so your favourite moments become something you can come back to again and again.
You can even set up a gift registry with me ahead of the wedding, so your guests can contribute to your wedding album as part of your wedding gifts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this style of relaxed wedding photography for us?
If you would call yourself camera-shy, if or you want your day to be about family and freinds and not about posing for photos, then yes! I focus on capturing real moments as they happen, and don’t interupt you or your day.
Do you still take us for couple portraits?
Yes! This is often one of my couples favourite parts of the day, especially if you don’t enjoy being the centre of attention. We keep it relaxed, with a little direction but not a lot of posing, and you get a lovely 15 minutes together away from the crowds.
Do you still photograph our formal family photos?
Yes if you want to! This is one part of the day where I can step in and take control – we can get these done quickly and enjoyably and get you back to the party, whilst still marking all your important pepple being in one place for your day.
Do you visit our venue before the wedding?
This completely depends on where you are getting married. Most of the time I don’t need to – but sometimes its nice to meet you on site if you want to chat anything through! Venue visits can be arranged Monday-Friday during daytime hours.
If we don’t meet at your venue, we always have a pre-wedding video call to chat over your final plans before the day.
How long before the wedding should we book you?
It’s best to book as early as possible, especially for popular wedding seasons. I only take on a limited number of weddings each year, so get in touch sooner rather than later to lock in your date! 9-18 months out from your date is ideal.
What do we need to do to book you?
Get in touch, let me know as much as you can about your plans so far and I’ll let you know my availability. We can have a chat if you like, and I just require a 20% deposit and signed contract to secure your date. Then you’re all booked!
Can we do a pre-wedding or engagement shoot?
Absolutely – I’d love that! You can add these on to your package at any time. Engagement shoots are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and have some fun together before the big day. Plus, you get some beautiful photos to use everywhere ahead of the day!
What if it rains on our wedding day?
My three pieces of advice are don’t worry , be prepared and be flexible. Rain can actually make for some amazing photos! Bring umbrellas and a change of shoes and trust me – I always have back up plans!
How many pictures will we get?
This really depends on your package, as each wedding is different and unique, but if you have booked for for a full day it will ususally be around 500 photos. I always shoot to cover the whole of your wedding story and you’ll get a mix of candid shots, portraits, and details. The answer is always quality over quantity!
When will we receive our photos?
I will send you a lovely bunch of highlights within one week of the wedding because I know you won’t be able to wait! The full gallery takes about 8 weeks.
Are you insured?
Yes I hold full insurance including public liability and I can provide certificates if you need.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes! I absolutely love designing custom wedding albums. They’re a beautiful way to relive your day, and I work with top-tier printers to create something unique for you.
