A Festival Wedding Photographer

Are you planning a festival wedding? I would love to be your festival wedding photographer!

Festival weddings are all about the fun. They are great if you’re after a relaxed vibe, have lots of friends with children, or are a lover of music. There are lots of venues across the country which help you set up a festival wedding. From the completely bespoke, DIY festival wedding where you simply hire the venue then add the structure, caterer and decorations yourself (which you can do here at Brook Farm in Hertfordshire) to the more set up venues where the structures are already present and you simply choose your package (try here at Lila’s Wood in Hertfordshire).

Here are some ideas from this amazing couple’s gorgeous festival wedding last summer which I was lucky enough to photograph. They got married at the most wonderful venue Wilderness Weddings in Kent. This beautiful wedding was all about family and friends. The couple were married completely outside under the amazing naked teepee, surrounded by water on three sides.  It is a dreamy spot, immersed by nature, wild flowers and golden grass. Guests sat either side on hay bales. The bride walked through the meadow with her dad and her bridal party and a wonderful violinist played her in.

After the ceremony guests walked across the meadow to the beautiful woodland setting, where the bride and groom had their confetti shot over a little bridge.. A teepee and outdoor bar sat waiting for them. More amazing musicians played and they enjoyed Prosecco and outdoor games, before the very relaxed outdoor speech set up.

A wedding breakfast in the teepee was followed by a great night of dancing underneath the trees and fairy lights.

We had great fun with the couple shots. We had some beautiful golden hour light, and took the bride and groom on a walk across the meadow back towards the lake.
