A Wedding Photography and Videography package for a stunning winter wedding at Tewinbury Farm.
Martha&Nick contacted Carla and I not long before their wedding last December to book our Photography and Videography package. We were delighted to be able to say yes. Tewinbury Farm is a beautiful wedding venue and is a location which has a special place in my heart as I’ve visited so many times with my family.
Carla and I work closely together to give you a complementary package of video and photos. Her natural, unposed and unobtrusive style matches the As You Are Photography style perfectly and her editing is all about the moments, both big and small.
We arrived a few hours before the ceremony to capture all the morning preparations. The lovely Jenae from Tewinbury was on hand all day as the Wedding Day Planner and couldn’t have been more helpful. Martha was getting ready in the bridal suite at Tewinbury – I absolutely love the named of this – it was in the ‘Potato Shed’ and the room was named ‘Jersey Royal’. With the wonderful Holly Ann Bridal doing the make up, we had a lovely morning with Martha getting ready with some of her closest friends popping in for fizz to still those pre-wedding jitters.
Whilst Martha was getting ready, Carla and I popped in and out, also watching the gorgeous Tythe Barn being decorated by Bloom in Gorgeous. It is a very stunning place to get married, with the gorgeous barn needing very little decoration to look amazing. I just loved the fairy lights strung across the whole ceiling. Also – a favourite for a photographer – there is a small balcony for all those ‘looking down’ angles to get some interesting shots.
Nick arrived shortly before the ceremony all ready to go with Martha&Nick’s two gorgeous boys. The ceremony was beautifully thought out, with some lovely personal touches. My favourite was the surprise band formed from friends and family playing mid-service! Luckily with the Tewinbury Farm Photography and Videography package you all the sounds of your wedding day alongside the images so Martha&Nick can remember the cheeky tune they played.
After the ceremony, Martha&Nick made the most of the beautiful grounds at Tewinbury and the little bit of daylight we had left to get some lovely couple and group photos. Tewinbury has so many lovely locations for photos, I think it makes a great location for a wedding all year round and can’t wait to visit the venue again. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapΓ©s inside the bar whilst the Tythe Barn was turned around for the wedding breakfast and then the party started! Speeches (all recorded as part of the vidography coverage) and cake cutting followed by a surprise first dance and music by Soul Factor.
If you’re interested in a complete package of Photography and Videography by Carla and myself, do visit here for more information and get in touch for availability! We recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later to make sure both of us are available on your wedding day.
