Notley Abbey is the most beautiful wedding venue set next to a river down a long, gorgeous, tree-lined driveway in Buckinghamshire. The Abbey is an exclusive use venue for up to 250 guests. I’ve been lucky enough to work there and I think that this is definitely a year round venue – an autumn or winter wedding would be just as stunning as summer wedding here, with all the autumn colours in the walled gardens. If you are planning a wedding at this venue, I would love to be your Notley Abbey wedding photographer so do get in touch (click here) to chat to me further about your plans.
I loved shooting some couple portraits at this venue last year with the amazing Rhea and Sam. The gardens are photographer’s dream, with gorgeous walled gardens, riverside spots and obviously the tree-lined driveway! We spent some time exploring all the grounds, and loved the ivy growing up the stone walls. The abbey really does provide such a great variety of outdoor backdrops for your wedding portraits.
If you choose to get married at Notley Abbey you and your guests can also choose to stay there. I loved working with the beautiful Sophie during her bridal preparations and portraits inside Notley Abbey. The inside of the abbey is also totally stunning and a great place for bridal preparations and bridal portraits. The gorgeous abbey windows provide so much lovely light which photographers love, and make for great backdrops for photographs as well.
