One of my favourite aspects of being a Hertfordshire family photographer is the changing of the seasons and Hertfordshire has so much to offer to family photography all year round. I’m getting all the summer feels looking at these photos from this gorgeous daisy field photoshoot back on Father’s Day last June. The lovely Tash booked me in for a daisy field shoot for a Father’s Day gift for Jamie. Honestly, the kid had so much fun running around the daisies and they make a glorious backdrop to all the tickles and giggles.

We met in the morning to catch that gorgeous sunlight, and also to get ahead of the heat! Before the shoot Tash and I discussed outfits and she sent me a few ideas for what she wanted to dress everyone up in – as it was a full shoot there was plenty of time for a few outfit changes for the kids! I just love Tash’s blue dress against the daisies.

We had lots of fun and the hour went by too quickly! I really believe the best images I can deliver as a Hertfordshire family photographer are not the perfect, everyone smiling at the camera shots, which isn’t how life is, but the ones that show real life and your children for all their cheeky grins and missing teeth. I don’t shoot for the one perfect photo with everyone smiling at the camera. I shoot with a collage of images in mind – which is why every full shoot with me has all images included in your final gallery.
