Chloe and Si booked an Berkhamsted engagement shoot with me about 3 months before their wedding day. They were keen to get used to the camera and also to have some images to mark their special year which were in a different place to their wedding (to see their wedding at Bucks Railway Centre see here). They chose the gorgeous town of Berkhamsted, which I never need an excuse to visit!
We met on a beautiful spring Sunday evening. We were very lucky as the generous staff at Berkhamsted Castle were more than happy to let us wonder around the grounds taking photos, so we started our shoot there. My engagement shoots are designed to be a fun date night for you both – some time for you to be together and have some laughs! There is a bit more ‘posing’ involved than on your wedding day but I keep it very light and just guide you gently so we can get the best images – it is mostly just you guys being you as we want your images to reflect your personalities! On this occasion Si kept us all entertained with castle facts and train facts so there were plenty of laughs along the way. I wish I could remember some of them but my brain is failing me this far post wedding season!
We moved from the castle down along the canal, so we got a great variety of images for Chloe and Si and all in all it was a great evening spent! Chloe and Si went on to have dinner in one of the very many amazing restaurants in Berkhamsted so they rounded off their date night perfectly.
