I had such fun being the Brickendon Grange Golf Club Wedding Photographer for Katie and Rob. Katie and Rob booked me for my Short Story collection, covering you from ceremony until first dance. It was a glorious Saturday in August, and I knew we were in for some good weather. Brickendon has an outside terrace which you can get married on, and Katie and Rob had opted for the outdoor option.
I always aim to arrive before guests with the short story package, so I can get all your venue images before anyone arrives, and then get some of all your guests arriving! The bar was open, so guests were able to sit on the terrace in the sun before the ceremony.
Katie had just the right dress on for a sunny afternoon, and looked beautiful walking down the aisle towards Rob. Their ceremony was full of lovely personal touches and readings, and afterwards we had confetti down a red carpet outside the glorious main golf club entrance.
My favourite part of the day was the golf buggy ride across the golf club finding the perfect spots for Katie and Rob’s couple images – thankfully I didn’t have to drive, as we may not have made it back safely, and it meant I managed to snap a few of Rob driving Katie along!
After guests had enjoyed a few games on the terrace, they went into the function room for dinner, speeches and dancing. We were also blessed with a bit of golden hour sunshine so straight after first dance we snuck back out to the golf course to finish the gallery on a golden glow.
