Hertfordshire
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Hey!
Hey, I’m Rachael – a Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer who’s all about natural, relaxed, and joy-filled wedding photography. No awkward poses, no cheesy looks – just real moments, genuine laughter, and all the happy chaos that makes your day uniquely you.
I love shooting at local faves like Bucks Railway Centre, Tewin Bury Farm, or King’s Chapel, but I’ll follow wherever your story takes me across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London and beyond.
To me, your wedding day isn’t a photo shoot – it’s one of the biggest, happiest days of your life. My job is to blend in like an extra guest with a camera, so you can celebrate, eat, dance, and maybe even shed a few happy tears, while I quietly capture all those amazing moments for you.
If you’re after a wedding photographer in Hertfordshire who’ll put you at ease and make sure your photos feel as fun and relaxed as your day, we might just be the perfect match. If you want a quick call or a video chat to find out more, let’s make it happen – I’d love to hear your plans and chat all things weddings!

ABOUT ME
I’m a Hertfordshire wedding photographer with a big love for storytelling through photos. Photography has taken me everywhere – from the deserts of South America to the jungles of Asia – but there’s nothing I love more than capturing real moments a little closer to home.
I grew up in the rolling hills of Shropshire, moved to the bright lights of London, and eventually settled here in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire (not far from lovely St Albans), with my husband and our daughter. When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find us exploring London, chasing good coffee, or finding a cosy pub after a long walk.
So why weddings? Honestly, they have everything: laughter, tears, dancing, details, and all the little unscripted moments in between. I still pinch myself that I get to call this my job! I trained at the UK’s leading wedding photography academy, learning from some of the country’s top wedding photographers at some truly stunning venues.
I adore weddings of all shapes and sizes — whether it’s an intimate celebration in the Hertfordshire countryside, a big party in London, or something completely unique. Every wedding tells a different story, and that’s the magic I get to capture.

ABOUT YOU
YOU WANT YOUR DAY TO BE ABOUT FUN, FAMILY AND FRIENDS, NOT ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHS
YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR DAY AND NOT BE INTERRUPTED WITH ENDLESS POSING
YOU WANT A PHOTOGRAPHER WHO WILL MAKE YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY FEEL AT EASE
YOU VALUE THE IMPERFECT MOMENTS AS MUCH AS THE PERFECT ONES
YOU WANT REAL IMAGES OF YOUR DAY, NOT A WEDDING FROM A MAGAZINE
YOU CAN’T WAIT TO GET MARRIED AND JUST WANT SOME LOVELY PHOTOS TO REMEMBER IT ALL!
Why choose me?
Choosing a wedding photographer is a big deal, so here’s why couples book me:
I KEEP THINGS NATURAL AND RELAXED (NO AWKWARD POSING!)
Couples often tell me they “hardly realised I was there” — I blend in, capturing those candid, emotional moments that feel genuine and unforced. Even if you’re camera-shy, you’ll feel completely at ease and able to just be yourselves.
I KNOW HERTFORDSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING COUNTIES INSIDE OUT
Having photographed at many of the region’s most beautiful venues, I know exactly where to find the best light and the quietest corners — helping your day flow smoothly while making the most of every backdrop.
I BRING YEARS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE FROM SOME OF THE UK’S TOP WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS
My couples describe the experience as “seamless, flexible and professional.” From our first call to the final gallery, I’ll guide you with advice on timings, planning, and everything in between, so you can relax knowing you’re in safe hands.
I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT STORYTELLING
I love capturing every detail, every laugh, and every little moment you might miss — “she documented all the emotions, joy and tiny details of our day so beautifully” is the kind of feedback that means the world to me.
I’M COMMITTED TO RUNNING MY BUSINESS AS SUSTAINABLY AS POSSIBLE
As an eco-conscious photographer, I take pride in thoughtful choices — from materials and packaging to travel and partnerships — because your love story deserves to be captured with care for the world around it.
…AND MOST IMPORTANTLY—I’LL MAKE SURE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE, SO YOUR PHOTOS REFLECT YOU, JUST AS YOU ARE.
Every couple deserves to look back and say, “that feels exactly like us.” My job is to make sure your photos do just that — full of emotion, authenticity, and joy.
What my couples say…
Euan&Kejal
My partner and I are not big photo people but Rachael made us feel so comfortable and relaxed it was a brilliant experience.
Lizzie&Joe
Rachael was amazing throughout the whole process. We felt very supported during the planning. On the day, Rachael was warm, friendly and calming, capturing so many natural, candid moments that we will treasure forever. The photos are beautiful and it’s hard to choose which ones to put on the wall!
William&Lisa
Rachael was unobtrusive and supportive, putting both of us at ease, fading into the background and capturing brilliant candid photos of all the guests!
Your Eco-Friendly Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer
I’m really passionate about the environment, and I’ve made it my mission to make my little business as green as possible. When you work with me, these are my promises to you – small steps I’m taking to do my part in the fight against climate change, while still capturing your day beautifully.
Favourite Wedding Venues
One of the things I love most about being a Hertfordshire wedding photographer is how many incredible venues there are nearby, each with its own personality. Whether you’re planning a big party or something small and intimate, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London are full of amazing backdrops for your day.
Countryside charm
If you’re dreaming of rolling fields, rustic barns and that relaxed rural vibe, Tewinbury Farm in Welwyn and Huntsmill Farm in Buckingham are both gorgeous choices.
Festival feels
For couples who want a more laid-back, festival-style wedding, Vanstone Park near Hitchin is a brilliant spot for something colourful and fun, or for a lower key venue with a pub vibe, try Old Luxters Barn near Henley.
Something classic
For a touch of English character, try Notley Abbey in Haddenham, while Chenies Manor near Chorleywood combines countryside charm with elegant spaces.
Unique & unforgettable
If you’re looking for something that really stands out, the Bucks Railway Centre in Aylesbury and King’s Chapel in Amersham are both amazing venues with bags of personality.
Wherever you choose to celebrate – countryside, festival, grand, or quirky – I’d love to hear all about your wedding plans. Here are even more of my favourite venues across Hertfordshire and beyond…
