If you are searching for a theme for your wedding then take a look at this amazing Alice in Wonderland themed Pelham House wedding. This lovely couple were married last summer at this venue and it was an absolutely stunning day. I was lucky enough to be there to capture it all.

Pelham House was a stunning backdrop for their day. Nestled in the centre of Lewes in East Sussex, it feels like a very private and secluded wedding venue. There are so many lovely areas to use as part of your day. There is the amazing ballroom, a beautiful bar area, the courtyards outside and the private gardens (which also can be used as an outdoor ceremony area).

I just loved all the amazing details the couple had arranged to go with their theme. Firstly, the bride is a millenary designer and created beautiful bespoke hats for her bridal party to wear. All guests wore hats as well, and it really made for a truly fun and unique aspect to their wedding! And then the table decorations were beyond amazing and truly unique, all part of the Alice in Wonderland theme.

Both the bride and groom chose to get ready at Pelham House. They had a civil ceremony outside under the gazebo in the beautiful gardens. It was definitely a tear jerker as they both read some beautiful vows to each other. Aftwewards they had a very relaxed drinks reception in the courtyard.

They had their wedding breakfast in the beautifully decorated Blencowe ballroom. Both the bride and groom made speeches, and I really do love a bride speech as well as a groom!

For their couples portraits, the bride and groom were really keen to walk up the road to the gorgeous castle in Lewes. It was a great backdrop during the evening light.
