Buckinghamshire has some amazing wedding venues and I love being a Buckinghamshire wedding photographer. One of my favourite venues is Hedsor House. Hedsor is a stunning stately home not far from London that you can exclusively hire for your day and make the most of all the beautiful rooms and the stunning gardens.

It was a blustery spring day for the wedding of this wonderful couple. I arrived early to capture some of the venue and the morning preparations. Hedsor has a beautiful bridal suite which has amazing windows offering beautiful light which will not only be loved by your make up artist but also by your photographer!

The rest of the house is just as beautiful. There is a grand staircase which offers some great photo opportunities. The ceremony room, which also become a great dance floor at the end of the day, also offers the chance for some great angles of your ceremony and dance floor with a balcony running around the top. The dining room is stunning and looks utterly beautiful laid up for a wedding breakfast. There’s also a number of other rooms that you can use such as a bar and a lounge area – I love how this couple used every room in the house and it became a real party house at the end of the night! It didn’t matter that the weather wasn’t great – there are lots of amazing photo opportunities to be had within the house. However, on this spring day we were lucky and we did manage to get outside with a break in the weather to make the most of the stunning grounds for some photographs.
