THE CAMERA-SHY PHOTOGRAPHER BEHIND AS YOU ARE

I know what it’s like to feel uncomfortable in front of the camera! I created As You Are Photography because I want people to feel different about having their photograph taken. I want photography to be about making memories.

Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a family, or a small business, my goal is always the same – to help people feel comfortable enough to be themselves so that the photos feel real. Photographing happy people makes me happy!

I work across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London, and beyond.

A LITTLE

about me

I’m a Hertfordshire photographer who loves people, travelling and noticing the little moments most people don’t even realise are happening. Photography has taken me everywhere – from the deserts of South America to the jungles of Asia – but I built As You Are Photography a little closer to home to help people fall in love with photos of themselves.

I grew up in the rolling hills of Shropshire, moved to the bright lights of London, and eventually settled here in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire (not far from Watford), with my husband and our daughter.

I’m very proud to have learnt my photography skills at one of the UK’s top Wedding Photography Academies, learning from the very best UK Wedding Photographers and I love my job! I’m at my most happiest when I’m behind the camera being creative for wonderful people.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find us exploring London, at the gym, chasing good coffee, or finding a cosy pub.
