There is something very magical and intimate about being an elopement wedding photographer, and it’s always a privilege to be a part of such a small and intimate ceremony. Carl and Kirsten planned their elopement wedding in 6 weeks! I was utterly amazed and it was so wonderful being part of the amazing team of suppliers who helped make it all happen – from the wonderful team at Hunton Park, to the florist, make up artist, and registrars, it was great to see it all come together on the day for this lovely couple.
Kirsten and Carl were engaged on a trip to Bruges before Christmas and decided to get married in the UK before their (already planned) long trip out to New Zealand to see Kirsten’s family. With 7 of their nearest and dearest at the wedding, including the bride and groom, not one detail was forgotten about and it was a pleasure to capture all the parts of a traditional wedding for Carl and Kirsten – from the getting ready right through to the sit down meal – everything seem just more special on such a small scale.
Hunton Park is a beautiful venue, with set ups for weddings of all sizes from 7 to 700! Carl and Kirsten were married in one of the smaller rooms, but we still had use of all the wonderful grounds of Hunton Park for photographs. We were blessed with some gorgeous winter sunshine which shone through the ceremony room, and a little frost which was still on the ground for some afternoon photographs in the glorious gardens.
